Mónica Flores
Regional President, Latin America
Mónica Flores was named Regional President of PrimeJobsRecruit Latin America in January 2013 and is responsible for the company's operation across 18 countries. Since joining PrimeJobsRecruit in 2003, she has held a variety of positions across the organization including Managing Director for the Mexico & Central America region from 2007 to 2012. A passionate advocate for diversity, she focuses on developing impactful alliances amongst governments, civil organizations and private enterprises to close the gap between the supply and demand of talent in Latin America.
Making history as the first Mexican woman President of the American Chamber of Commerce, Mónica serves as a member of the Board of Global Companies and participates in advisory boards of different educational institutions including Junior Achievement Americas and Laureate International Universities Mexico.
Mónica’s leadership has earned recognition from major publications including Forbes, Expansión, and Líderes Mexicanos, which have named her among the most powerful businesswomen in Mexico and Latin America. Additional accolades include: CEOs Change Makers LATAM by Horse, The 500 Most Influential People in Latin America by Bloomberg, Top 10 Disruptive CEOs in Mexico by El CEO, Mujeres Fuera de Serie, and SIA's Staffing 25 Latin America by Staffing Industry Analysts.
Distinguished honors include Outstanding Woman of the Year (2011) by the Senate of the Mexican Republic, Outstanding Woman of the Year of Mexico and Latin America in Business (2016) by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants, Woman of the Decade in Innovation and Leadership (2019) by the Women Economic Forum, Woman of the Decade by WEF LATAM (2023), and Woman of the Year 2024 by The International Parliament of Education. In 2024, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Santander.
As an author, Mónica has published two books: "Cómo conseguir tu primer trabajo" and "En sus marcas, listos... ¡Empléate!" and is co-author of "Consejos para Consejos".
An accomplished academic, she graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico as an Actuary and holds a Master's Degree in Philosophy from the Panamerican University, as well as a Master in Business Administration from IPADE Business School. Her education also includes a Diploma in Philosophy and History of Mexican Culture. Mónica lives in Mexico City.
